Allergens and ingredients

We aim to show the name, ingredients, allergens, net quantity, storage conditions and best before or use-by information for every food product in its listing, as required by the Food Information Regulations 2014. The 14 major allergens are highlighted on product labels.

Always read the label on the product you receive before eating it. Manufacturers sometimes change recipes and packaging, and product images are for illustration only, so the label on the product is the most accurate source of information. If you have a food allergy or intolerance and need information before you order, email contact@super-savers.co.uk and we will check the product for you.

Best before and use-by dates

A use-by date is about safety. We never sell food past its use-by date.
A best before date is about quality. Food can be legally sold and is safe to eat after its best before date if it has been stored correctly, although its quality may start to decline. As a clearance retailer, we sometimes sell food that is close to or past its best before date at a reduced price. Where this applies, we will say so in the product listing.

Storage

Please unpack food promptly on delivery and store it according to the instructions on the packaging.

Returns

For hygiene and safety reasons, food, drink and pet food cannot be returned for a change of mind. If an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, or is not as described, please contact us and we will put it right. See our Returns & Refund Policy.
